Well, the extra ones go to a thing called a 'PC'... but that's also very comfortable to them. You can switch them out when you find these 'PC's. I don't really get it, but the Pokemon are happy, so I'm happy. I try to switch them out whenever possible, so they can all have an equal amount of time with me.
